In a world where many think of themselves and do not mind others, survival for the fittest is the order of the day, success is measured by wealth, health, talent… the poor struggling to simply survive, then the power of a smile and the beauty of a picture can be a beacon of hope and healing.
As a religious individual working in media, I believe that we can make a significant impact on a generation in need of love and the light of Christ through little actions, gestures, and a listening ear.
Amid chaos and despair in war-torn areas, a simple smile can be a powerful force for good. A thank you and prayer can be an encouragement to persevere. They can uplift spirits, offer comfort, and remind individuals that they are not alone in their struggles. Through our work in media, we have the opportunity to share these smiles with the world, spreading joy and positivity to those who need it most. It’s not about how popular but how impactful a message can be. of course, few people pay attention to impactful messages, and that is the media.
Similarly, the beauty of a picture can touch hearts and inspire change. Through captivating images, we can convey messages of hope, resilience, and faith. We have the power to showcase the beauty in the world, even amidst darkness, and remind others of the goodness that still exists and God intended all to be good. Our world is in greater need of hope.
People of God, we must use our media platforms to heal and uplift those who are struggling. By sharing smiling faces, greeting, thanking, helping, and drawing pretty pictures, we can offer a ray of light amid the darkness. Let us be beacons of hope, spreading love and positivity to a generation in need of healing

On the other hand, all that glitters is not gold. It is ok to do all the above but we also need to take a further step of listening to people’s stories. Trying to understand the message and joy behind the images we see.
It takes a reflective approach to heal a generation of people struggling to survive through smiling faces and pretty pictures on social media. That is why I believe we should help our people walk in the newness of life. A life guided by faith, Hope, and God’s love.
